CHALLENGE

Launching Nick Splat on the VRV streaming channel is an exhilarating venture, though it comes with its fair share of formidable challenges. The foremost obstacle is striking the perfect equilibrium between offering classic Nickelodeon content that tugs at the heartstrings of nostalgia and seamlessly integrating a perfect streaming service. Additionally, the channel must cater to multiple generations, including Millennials, Gen Xers, and younger viewers, necessitating a finely tuned content and marketing strategy. Preserving the Nickelodeon brand’s integrity in this new context is crucial, as is keeping subscribers engaged beyond nostalgia.

SOLUTION

The ideal solution for launching the Nick Splat channel on VRV, while seamlessly merging classic Nickelodeon content with cutting-edge technology, involves a multifaceted strategy. Our primary focus is to strike the perfect balance between nostalgia and fun. Incorporating elements from ’90s games and toys, we can evoke powerful feelings of nostalgia and connect with our target audience on a deeper level. This entails offering beloved Nickelodeon shows in a way that deeply resonates with viewers’ memories while integrating modern features that enhance the overall experience. To effectively target Millennials, Gen Xers, and younger audiences, we need a tailored content and marketing approach that can connect with diverse age groups.

Some examples of the nostalgic 90s toys we designed to engage our audience and helped us unify the individual Nick Splat  properties’ brands.

We’ll use social media to engage our audience with shareable content, interactive polls, and nostalgic challenges. This will build a sense of community and encourage people to subscribe to VRV’s NickSplat. These strategies will position VRV as the go-to destination for classic Nickelodeon shows in the competitive streaming landscape, while ensuring that it works smoothly and protects the Nickelodeon brand’s core identity.
